Miniature Injector Molding offers substantial latitude in regard to modifying our
standard machines to meet your customized needs. With the modular design of the
Mini-Jector, we are able to mate different base configurations to various injection
assemblies, clamp assemblies and control packages. Just a few of the modifications we've
done in the past are shown below.

This Model 55 Mini-Jector was modified to accept a horizontal parting line with vertical
injection.

These pictures show a rounded nozzle that makes contact with a similar curve on the mold.
This contact clamps the mold, and the floating non-drool nozzle tip opens after a certain
displacement from contact. The mold slides into position on the bottom fixed platen.
There is a slight amount of play with both the top and bottom guides to allow a centering
effect from the rounded nozzle, ensuring consistent injection.

To increase production, some customers use an index table to shuttle molds
into the injection portion of the machine. We can accommodate vertical
and horizontal injection with our C-frame designs.
